If there’s one place that you are sure to fall in love with, it simply has to be Mazatlán, and since so many visitors fall in love with the place Vedanta has extended their services to this beautiful and interesting area.

Mazatlan stretches some fifteen continuous miles all along a segment of land which continues southward approaching the Pacific Ocean. The Vedanta lies a mere forty-five minutes from the heart of Mazatlan. In effect Mazatlan marks the origin of tropics for Mexico.

People flock to Mazatlan as with its many palm trees and its perpetual summer time weather it has been becoming a refuge for those who wish to escape the harsh winter cold. Many of these happy people are from Vedanta and know fully well how to appreciate the beauty displayed in Mazatlán.

The name Mazatlan literally means The lands of the deer translated from the ancient Nahuatls language. The inviting sandy beach extends for a sweeping 10 miles. It is no wonder that Vedanta hosts more than a million visitors to Mazatlan per year.

While many of the vacationers frolic upon the white sandy beach the guests from Vedanta make their way on a small side excursion to what the locals call the old town. This old Mexican style town is located at the very tip of Mexico’s peninsula. While life here is carried out as it was many years ago in the old Mexican style. Here the guests from the Vedanta can find outdoor markets, hundred-year-old churches, and a variety of scattered plazas from which to escape the blistering heat.

 A short distance away you will find Zona Dorada or in English the hotel zone. Here you can discover some excellent dining facilities as well as an abundance of entertainment. The dress as with other areas of entertainment such as the Vedanta remains causal for4 most affairs however you are cautioned that in the evenings you just m,ay require a light jacket.
